Registration Procedure

According to Energy Act the registered market participants registered in Energy market are:

Electricity trade license holders (§30 paragraph 2 letter j);
Electricity distribution license holders (§25 paragraph 12 letter d);
Electricity transmission license holder (§24 paragraph 10 letter x);
Electricity generation license holders (§23 paragraph 2 letter n);
Authorized clients replacing for the first time their supplier (§28 paragraph 2 letter l).

According to Energy Act the registered market participants registered in Gas market are:

Gas trade license holders (§61 paragraph 2 letter j).

By Registered market participant is understood each subject (entity) being primarily filed within IS OTE and having a registration number accorded by OTE.

Registration procedure into market operator system (CS OTE) system according to law i.e. no need to have contract with market operator

1. The Participant will fill in the registration form

Application of registration of Market participant Form A and clicking the "Register" button send the Form A to CS OTE. For the correct operation of the electronic form it is necessary to install OTECA certificate (1 KB).

2. The market participant will be notified via email about reg. num. assigning. After that The market participant send to OTE these documents:

completed registration form A (certified by the authorized representative of the Participant),
Certified copy of the extract from the Commercial register, or certified copy of Trade license,
Certified copy (copies) of the accorded license(s).

Now the Registration procedure is completed.

If the sending Form A (according to Article 1) fails, the Participant can use the alternative registration procedure.

The Participant will send Application of registration of Market participant Form A (DOC, 100 KB) attached to email to address registrace@ote-cr.cz (el.) or registrace-plyn@ote-cr.cz (gas). After sending this email the Participant proceed according to Article 2.
