<p>OTE, a.s., the Czech electricity and gas market operator, informs, in accordance with Section 116 (4) of the Public Notice No. 349/2015 Coll., on the Gas Market Rules, about missing balance responsible party with sufficient financial security on PDTs in the attachment of the respective news in the OTE portal.</p> <p>Fast change of supplier for these PDTs is allowed from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on October 04, 2025.</p>

<p>OTE, a.s., the Czech electricity and gas market operator, announces in accordance with Section 118(5) of the Public Notice No. 349/2015 Coll., on the Gas Market Rules, that it is suspending the activity of a company <strong>AZ Energies s.r.o., ID 06742157, EIC 27X-AZ-PLYN----E,</strong> in CS OTE system due to the loss of its possibility to supply gas, based on a notification of this company received by the market operator on 3 October 2025.</p> <p>In line with the Market Rules, a fast change of supplier will be possible on 4 October 2025 from 08:00 to 17:00. Delivery of gas from the Supplier of Last Resort (or any other supplier following the fast change of supplier) will start from 5 October 2025 06:00. Delivery from the Supplier of Last Resort doesn’t apply to customers whose gas consumption during the last 12 months exceeded 630 MWh.</p> <p>In this context, the Market Operator urges the suppliers who have passed the responsibility for the imbalance to AZ Energies s.r.o. to make a change of balance responsible party at the affected points of delivery by 14:00 on 4 October 2025. If this does not happen by that time, a fast change of supplier to another supplier will be allowed at the respective points of delivery, or the respective points of delivery will be transferred to the supplier of last resort.</p> <p>The Supplier of Last Resort (SLR) serves to protect customers in case of any supplier’s failure to operate. An SLR steps in immediately after such an incident and customers can use the SLR as an interim supplier for a maximum of 6 months. During this time the customer should select a new proper supplier and switch to it without any restrictions. Even if a customer had a fixed-term contract with the original supplier, this will not be valid with the SLR.</p> <p>The Market Operator is following the national legislation in force, with the aim of minimizing the negative impact of such events on the gas market.</p>

<p>The market operator, in accordance with Decree No. 408/2015 Coll., on the Electricity Market Rules, announces that it is suspending in its system the activities of the company <strong>AZ Energies s.r.o., Company ID No. 06742157, EAN 8591824290538</strong>, due to the company losing the ability to supply electricity and being unable to meet the financial requirements for imbalance settlement. This action is based on a notification received from the company on 3 October 2025 at 0:30 PM.</p> <p> </p> <p>In accordance with Decree No. 408/2015 Coll., on the Electricity Market Rules, market participants may submit a request for an expedited supplier change via the market operator’s information system <strong>by 3 October 2025 at 12:00 PM</strong>, pursuant to § 59 of the Decree. If customers do not carry out an expedited supplier change, the Market Operator will notify the relevant suppliers of last resort (SoLR) of the registration numbers of the affected customer supply points. These suppliers of last resort will then provide electricity supply to these customers for a legally defined period.</p> <p> </p> <p>The supplier of last resort (SoLR) is a mechanism designed to protect consumers in the event of the insolvency of any energy supplier. The SoLR is assigned in the Market Operator’s information system to the affected supply point(s) with their respective delivery points and to the point designated for covering distribution system losses from 00:00 on the day the SoLR begins supplying electricity, until the day a new supplier begins supply, but no longer than for 6 months. For electricity producers, the SoLR is assigned to the affected delivery point from 00:00 on the day the SoLR becomes responsible for the producer\'s delivery point imbalance, until a new balance responsible party assumes responsibility, but no longer than for 1 month.</p> <p> </p> <p>The Market Operator acts in accordance with applicable regulations and with the aim of minimizing negative impacts on the electricity market.</p>

<p>Parties of the 15-minute market time unit (MTU) project are pleased to confirm that full readiness has been successfully achieved and go-live is therefore scheduled for 30 September 2025 (trading day) for delivery day 1 October 2025.</p> <p>Throughout the testing campaign, Nominated Electricity Market Operators (NEMOs) and Transmission System Operators (TSOs) tested their systems under a wide range of market conditions. <p>On Saturday, 6 September 2025, following planned maintenance, the Single Intraday Coupling (SIDC) electricity market experienced a complete outage of the XBID system, which facilitates cross-zonal trading. The disruption occurred between 09:30 and 17:50.</p> <p>The market operator ensured that trading on the local intraday electricity market in the Czech Republic remained operational throughout the outage.</p> <p>An in-depth investigation is currently underway, on the XBID service provider\'s side, to identify the root cause of the unscheduled downtime.
