The Czech Republic is experiencing a very critical period and it remains unpredictable when and how powerful the peak will occur and how far consequences and impacts of the pandemic will reach. Ensuring a secure and reliable energy supply without impacting the electricity and gas markets is one of the cornerstones of crisis management. OTE is well aware of its social responsibility. That is why OTE, a.s., has taken a set of decisions on how to prevent negative impacts on our markets and on processes imposed by Czech law and, last but not least, to minimize the potential health threat to our employees.

After taking necessary operational, technical and safety measures in the area of work organization, we remain fully capable to provide all our services to the full extent and in the respective quality (including access to the CS OTE system and to our market platform). I strongly believe that these changes have been made without any negative impact on your business and that you might not even notice them. Thanks to the robust and stable IT solution, multiple communication security and excellent preparedness of our employees, the entire OTE team is able to work from home. We have been regularly practicing and preparing for such non-standard situations.

The working hours of the Market Department, the Electricity Balances Department and the Gas Balances Department have remained unchanged. For easier, faster and better communication, we have significantly strengthened contacts to Helpdesks of individual departments, which will allow you to contact us.

We wish you mainly health and moral strength to overcome the crisis, and we sincerely hope to be able to work in standard operating mode soon.
