Adjustment of parameter for the Lower Threshold of the Second Auction on Day-Ahead Market

Due to the recent market circumstances specifically in The Netherlands, the Nominated Electricity Market Operators (‘NEMOs‘) operating the Single Day-Ahead Coupling have decided to modify the lower threshold that triggers the 2nd auction procedure from -150 EUR per MWh to -500 EUR per MWh.

The change is implemented as of 22 June (first trading day) for delivery date 23 June in the Czech Republic.

The following countries are affected by the threshold switch to -500 EUR/MWh: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland and Northern Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, and The Netherlands.
