Conclusions From the Webinar on the Introduction of the 15-minute Settlement and Trading Period in the Czech Republic

On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, a key final webinar took place before the introduction of the 15-minute settlement and trading period in the Czech Republic from July 1, 2024, which attracted over 250 representatives of electricity market participants and their suppliers. The webinar concluded a series of webinars organized by the market operator in recent months with the aim of recalling specific changes in the OTE information system ('CS OTE') related to the introduction of a 15-minute settlement and trading period in the Czech Republic as of July 1, 2024, and related adjustments on short-term electricity markets.

At the webinar, participants could specifically recall the details of the changes implemented in CS OTE from June 25 and July 1, 2024, not only in the short-term electricity markets Day-Ahead and Continuous Intraday Market, Intraday Auctions and Registration of Realization Diagrams but also in other modules of the CS OTE, specifically in the modules: CDS Electricity, Imbalance Settlement of Electricity, Financial Settlement, CDS Gas and the Public OTE Website.

The presentation from the webinar can be downloaded here. Materials from other webinars organized by the market operator are available on the OTE website under this link.

All questions raised by market participants and answers to them can be found in an updated document on the OTE website here. Please send any other questions regarding the transfer of measurement data or imbalance settlement to elektro@ote-cr.cz, and questions regarding trading platforms ('DM', 'IM', 'IDA') and Registration of Realization Diagrams ('RRD') to the market@ote-cr.cz.

Due to the large scale of the expected changes in the week from June 6, 2024, to July 1, 2024, we kindly ask market participants to regularly monitor the market operator's website.
