The market operator invites all market participants to the webinars organized on the planned changes in the OTE’s information system (hereafter ‘CS OTE’) in connection with the introduction and testing of the 15-minute settlement period in the Czech Republic as of July 1, 2024, and on the adjustments related to this change in the short-term electricity markets, including the introduction of intraday auctions. The current available information can be found on the regularly updated website of the market operator.

On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 13:00 to 14:00, there will be an online webinar (conducted in the Czech language) on the introduction of the new CS OTE framework in the areas of PDT (Point of delivery/transfer) master data transfer and measurement data transfer in the new universal interface in a 15-minute period. The invitation to the event, including login information, was already sent by email on 25 January 2024 to all market participants registered in CS OTE, a link with login details is also available on the notice board of the CS OTE portal.

Furthermore, we would like to invite market participants to join the online webinar (conducted in the Czech language) organized on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 13:00 to 15:30, where important information will be presented on the introduction and testing of 15-minute products in short-term electricity markets, the change of the framework on the day-ahead market and changes in the results of the imbalance settlement related to the introduction of the 15-minute imbalance settlement period. Moreover, basic information on the introduction and testing of intraday auctions ('IDAs') in the CS OTE system will be presented. The invitation to the event, including login information, was already sent by email on 7 February 2024 to all market participants registered in CS OTE, a link with login details is also available on the notice board of the CS OTE portal. In this context, we would like to remind you that the market operator has published updated document describing the main changes and impacts on short-term electricity markets.

On Thursday 21 March 2024, the Nominated Electricity Market Operators ('NEMOs') and Transmission System Operators ('TSOs') within the Single Intraday Coupling ('SIDC') are holding an informative online webinar (English only) regarding the changes to the central systems and procedures in within the framework of SIDC associated with the introduction of intraday auctions. The beginning of the organization of these auctions is currently scheduled for Thursday, June 13, 2024. Intensive testing is currently underway between members of the project. Testing with market participants is expected in the period from April 8 to May 3, 2024. More details can be found in the official invitation. The registration link together with the webinar agenda will be published on the NEMO Committee website during February.
