OTE and ERO, under the auspices of MTI, organized an on-line workshop in order to inform electricity and gas suppliers about the process for submitting applications for payment of the monthly compensation provided for the delivery of electricity and gas at fixed prices, in accordance with Government Regulation No.5/2023.

The workshop was organized by OTE, a.s., the Czech electricity and gas market operator, the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) and also with great help from the representatives of Ministry of Industry and Trade (MTI). It was held online on Wednesday April 5th 2023 and it informed electricity and gas suppliers about the process for submitting applications for payment of monthly compensation provided for the delivery of electricity and gas at fixed prices, in accordance with Section 10 of Government Regulation No.5/2023. This workshop was a successful follow-up to the series of previous workshops that were held either individually or jointly by ERO, OTE and MTI from January 2023 in relation to government's introduction of price caps for electricity and gas due to the exceptional energy market situation.
