On May 28, 2024, a webinar organized by the market operator took place with the aim of summarizing the specific changes implemented on June 13, 2024, in the OTE information system ('CS OTE'), in connection with the planned transition to a 15-minute settlement and trading period on July 1, 2024, and with the introduction of Intraday Auctions. The webinar was attended by almost 300 people representing electricity market participants and their suppliers. The material presented during the webinar is available at this link. The market operator also confirmed that from Wednesday 12/06/2024 to Thursday 13/06/2024 several significant changes will be implemented, namely:

• deployment of the new web interface of the CS OTE portal for selected forms and reports, including modifications to their graphic design (Day-Ahead Market, Registration of Realization Diagrams and Imbalance Settlement and settlement of markets),
• deployment of new (universal) message formats used for communication with CS OTE (WSDL and XSD templates).

OTE, a.s. together with the other Nominated Electricity Market Operators and Transmission System Operators, also hereby confirms to the electricity market participants the plan to start the organization of Intraday Auctions on Thursday, June 13, 2024, with the delivery day of June 14, 2024. The first Intraday Auctions in CS OTE will therefore have a gate closure for receiving orders on June 13, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. However, the successful introduction of Intraday Auctions is subject to the successful completion of testing and technical preparations for launch, which will take place in the period prior to June 13, 2024. Intraday Auctions are a suitable complement to Intraday Continuous Trading, which continues to be maintained. We also invite market participants to the second webinar, which will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., in which further technical and organizational steps associated with the transition to a 15-minute settlement and trading period as of July 1, 2024. The invitation including login details was sent by email to all market participants registered in CS OTE and the link with login details is also available on the CS OTE portal notice board.
