The market operator brings new possibilities for trading on the intraday gas market by introducing a mobile application. The OTE IM Gas application allows to market participants easily trade and continuously monitor the current state of the market and the development of trading.

The OTE IM gas application is designed for smartphones and tablets and allows to operatively trade and continuously monitor the current state of the market. Through the mobile application, market participants also have the opportunity to receive important news from the intraday gas market and respond flexibly to them. The launch of this mobile application responds to the wishes of market participants expressed in surveys conducted in previous years. The OTE IM Gas application complements the existing tools: OTE-COM and automatic communication. When trading, you can be logged in to the IM gas desktop application and simultaneously to the mobile application on all registered mobile devices.

The OTE IM Gas mobile app can now be downloaded on Google Play and installed on the Android (mobile phone/tablet) mobile devices. It has been already the second application that OTE proposes to its business partners. Already in 2017, an application for producers with small supported photovoltaic sources was launched, which allows sending data from reports on generated and consumed electricity to the OTE information system.

Following the successful interconnection of the intraday electricity market under the SIDC/XBID project, which took place in November 2019, the market operator is now working intensively on modifying this mobile application so that it is also available for access and trading on the intraday electricity market. Its launch is planned for the first half of 2020.
